Job Description

ABM Industries is looking to hire a skilled Electrician to join its team in the UAE. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems based on technical diagrams and blueprints. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of electrical systems across various work sites.

The Electrician will handle a wide range of tasks, including inspecting transformers and circuit breakers, troubleshooting electrical faults using industry-standard testing devices, and performing repairs or replacements of wiring, fixtures, and equipment. All work must comply with the National Electrical Code as well as applicable state and local building regulations.

This position also requires performing corrective maintenance on circuit breakers and maintaining a solid working knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems, along with the tools and equipment used for testing and diagnostics.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has completed an electrician apprenticeship and holds a high school diploma, along with an electrician degree from a technical college. Prior hands-on experience working as an electrician is required, along with a strong understanding of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance and repair practices. A valid driver’s license is also necessary for this role.

Candidates with experience in the renewable energy field will be viewed favorably, as this knowledge complements the technical demands of the position.
