Job Description
Gulf Precast Concrete Company LLC-S.P.C is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to take charge of maintenance, repair and servicing across its precast concrete manufacturing operation. The role covers production machinery, equipment, vehicles and facility systems. The aim is to keep plant equipment running reliably, limit production downtime and uphold high standards of safety, efficiency and operational performance.
The position is based across the UAE. It suits a technically skilled professional who is comfortable leading a maintenance team and working closely with production and operations colleagues.
The Role at a Glance
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance for the equipment that keeps the plant productive. This includes batching plants, concrete mixers, moulds, cranes, forklifts, compressors and hydraulic systems, along with other related machinery.
Day to day, you will direct a team of maintenance technicians, mechanics and electricians. You will also build and run preventive maintenance schedules and diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Where specialist work is needed, you will coordinate with external service providers and contractors.
Planning is a central part of the job. You will work with production and operations teams so maintenance is scheduled without unnecessary disruption to manufacturing. You will also keep track of spare parts, tools and consumables, maintain accurate service records, and watch maintenance costs while recommending ways to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Safety and compliance sit alongside the technical work. The role calls for adherence to UAE health, safety and environmental regulations, company policies and relevant industrial safety standards, as well as well-organised workshops and work areas.
Ideal Candidate
- A Mechanical Engineering graduate with a bachelor’s degree and 5 to 8 years of maintenance experience in precast concrete, concrete products or the wider construction industry.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance planning and in supervising maintenance teams.
- Strong troubleshooting ability, backed by clear communication and sound leadership.
- Familiarity with working in the UAE, which is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities
*Supervise daily maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
*Oversee the maintenance of precast concrete production equipment, including batching plants, concrete mixers, moulds, cranes, forklifts, compressors, hydraulic systems, and other related machinery.
*Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment failures and unplanned downtime.
*Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and coordinate timely repairs.
*Lead, assign, and monitor the work of maintenance technicians, mechanics, electricians, and other maintenance personnel.
*Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and operational requirements.
*Coordinate with production and operations teams to plan maintenance activities without unnecessarily disrupting manufacturing schedules.
*Monitor spare parts inventory, maintenance materials, tools, and consumables, ensuring availability and efficient utilization.
*Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs, and service history.
*Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations, company policies, and relevant industrial safety standards.
*Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures, safety hazards, and opportunities for operational improvement.
*Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized maintenance, equipment servicing, and repairs.
*Monitor maintenance costs, identify opportunities to reduce expenses, and recommend improvements to equipment reliability and performance.
*Ensure maintenance workshops, tools, and work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety requirements.
*Investigate recurring equipment problems and implement corrective actions to prevent future breakdowns.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical Engineering.
•Minimum 5-8 years of maintenance experience in the precast concrete, concrete products, or construction industry.
•Experience in preventive maintenance planning and team supervision.
•Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills.
•UAE experience is an advantage.
