Job Description
La Segunda Bakery is looking for a dependable Bread Packer to join its production team. This role plays an important part in ensuring that bread and bakery products are packed safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting the bakery’s quality and hygiene standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting freshly baked products, packing them according to company procedures, and preparing them for storage or dispatch. Attention to detail, cleanliness, and a steady work pace are essential to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities
Pack bread and bakery products according to company standards.
Check bread for quality, freshness, appearance, and proper size before packing.
Operate and maintain basic packing equipment safely.
Ensure correct packaging, sealing, labeling, and date coding.
Arrange packed products properly in cartons or trays.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the packing area.
Follow food safety, health, and workplace safety procedures.
Report damaged, defective, or contaminated products to the supervisor.
Assist with loading and organizing finished products for dispatch.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Perform other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Requirements
Previous experience in a bakery, food production, or packing environment is preferred.
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety.
Good physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a production environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
