Job Description
Al Safa Hotel is seeking a dependable Heavy Vehicle Driver to safely operate heavy trucks and commercial vehicles for transportation and delivery operations across the UAE. This role suits a driver with strong practical skills, sound knowledge of UAE roads, and a genuine commitment to safety on every trip.
As a Heavy Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, and equipment to assigned locations while following UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company procedures. You will conduct routine vehicle checks, ensure cargo is properly secured, and maintain clear records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle condition, helping keep operations running smoothly and safely.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate holds a valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License and has a safe, responsible driving record. Previous experience as a heavy vehicle or truck driver is preferred, along with good familiarity with UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Strong awareness of road safety and vehicle handling
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good time-management skills for planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Basic English communication skills for coordinating with supervisors and customers
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading when required
- Flexible to work varying hours, including weekends or overtime as needed
