Job Description

Harvard Protection Services is looking for a reliable and observant Security Guard to help safeguard its property and premises. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining a safe environment by monitoring visitor activity, enforcing site rules, and responding promptly to any unusual or unsafe situations.

This is a hands-on, front-line position suited to individuals who are alert, disciplined, and comfortable working independently while remaining accountable to supervisors. You will be expected to maintain a visible security presence, keep accurate records of visitor movement, and act quickly and appropriately whenever an incident, disturbance, or safety concern arises.

• Alert and observant, with the ability to notice and respond to suspicious behaviour
• Confident in communicating rules and expectations clearly to visitors
• Physically capable of standing, patrolling, and responding quickly when needed
• Dependable in reporting incidents and updates to supervisors on a regular basis
• Basic first aid knowledge and prior security experience are considered a plus
