Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Haris Al Afaq LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems, working directly from technical diagrams and blueprints. The position combines hands-on installation work, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to keep electrical systems running safely and efficiently.

Day-to-day duties include inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components, diagnosing issues using appropriate testing devices, and repairing or replacing wiring, fixtures, and equipment as needed. You will also be expected to carry out circuit breaker corrective maintenance and ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code as well as applicable state and local building regulations. A working knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems, along with familiarity with relevant testing equipment, will support your success in this role.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has completed an electrician apprenticeship and holds an electrician degree from a technical college, backed by a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license. Strong, well-rounded knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprint reading, and general maintenance and repair practices is essential. Prior hands-on experience working as an electrician, particularly across both simple and complex electrical systems, is valuable, and experience in the renewable energy field is considered an added advantage.
