Job Description
ServeU Facilities Management is looking for an attentive and dependable CCTV Operator to join its security operations in Dubai, UAE. This role plays an important part in maintaining a safe and secure environment across assigned facilities by monitoring surveillance systems, identifying potential risks, and responding to incidents in line with established procedures.
Working from a control room, the CCTV Operator will keep a close watch on entrances, exits, common areas, and other key locations, ensuring that any unusual or unauthorized activity is detected and reported without delay. The role requires focus, discipline, and the ability to stay alert during extended monitoring periods, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
This is a hands-on position suited to individuals who take security seriously and understand the importance of accurate reporting, confidentiality, and quick decision-making during emergencies.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has prior experience in CCTV monitoring, control room operations, or a similar security-related role, ideally within facilities management, commercial buildings, residential communities, hospitality, or retail environments. Comfort with surveillance technology, strong observation skills, and a calm, professional approach under pressure are essential.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and standard security monitoring procedures

- Good verbal and written communication skills for reporting and coordination

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts as required by the site schedule

Responsibilities
*Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously to identify unusual, suspicious, or unauthorized activities.
*Maintain effective surveillance of entrances, exits, common areas, parking facilities, and other designated locations.
*Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and system alerts in accordance with established procedures.
*Report suspicious activities, incidents, accidents, security breaches, or safety hazards to the relevant supervisor or security team.
*Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, observation records, and CCTV monitoring documentation.
*Review and retrieve recorded CCTV footage when authorized and required for incident investigations.
*Ensure CCTV equipment and monitoring systems are functioning correctly and report technical faults immediately.
*Coordinate with security personnel, facility management, emergency response teams, and relevant authorities when required.
*Maintain strict confidentiality of surveillance footage, security information, and incident-related records.
*Follow all company policies, client requirements, site security procedures, and UAE health and safety regulations.
*Remain alert and attentive throughout the assigned shift, including during night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Requirements
*Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Control Room Operator, Security Control Room Operator, or in a similar role is preferred.
*Experience in facilities management, commercial buildings, residential communities, hospitality, retail, or other large-scale facilities is an advantage.
*Good knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems, surveillance procedures, and security operations.
*Basic computer skills and ability to operate monitoring and recording systems.
*Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills.
*Good verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies or security incidents.
*Professional, trustworthy, disciplined, and reliable.
*Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
*UAE-based candidates are preferred.
*Candidates with relevant UAE security/facilities management experience and required site-specific certifications or licenses will have an advantage.
