JobVista UAE publishes job listings and career guides for people looking for work in the United Arab Emirates. This page explains how we research, write, check and update that content, and what to do if you spot a mistake.
What we write about
Our guides cover the practical side of working in the UAE: finding vacancies, writing a CV, preparing for interviews, understanding job offers and salaries, and knowing your rights under UAE employment rules. We write for job seekers first, whether they already live in the UAE or are applying from abroad.
Where our information comes from
For anything involving law, visas, work permits, wages or official procedures, we check official sources before publishing. These include:
- The UAE Government portal (u.ae)
- The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE)
- The official UAE Legislation portal, including Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 and its Executive Regulation
- Other federal and emirate-level authorities, such as ICP and GDRFA, where a topic falls under them
We link to the official source wherever we rely on it, so you can check the original yourself. When we use news reports or professional commentary, we say so and prefer sources that cite the authority directly. We do not publish salary figures, statistics or legal requirements that we cannot trace to a source.
How we handle legal and regulatory topics
Employment rules in the UAE change, and official wording matters. In articles about labour law, visas or wages, we:
- Separate what the law or an official authority says from our own practical advice
- Name the article, resolution or official page behind each important rule
- Say clearly when official sources are unclear or worded differently, rather than guessing
- Show when the information was last checked
Our guides are general information, not legal advice. The Arabic text of UAE legislation is the official version. If you are in a dispute or facing a decision with serious consequences, contact MoHRE or a qualified UAE employment lawyer.
Keeping articles up to date
We review articles when official rules change and when readers tell us something is out of date. When we make a meaningful update, the article’s updated date changes. Older guidance that no longer applies is removed or clearly marked as historical.
Corrections
If you think something we published is wrong or outdated, please tell us through our contact page. Include the page link and, if possible, the official source that shows the correct information. We check every correction request and update the article if we find an error.
Job listings and candidate safety
Job seekers never pay JobVista UAE to apply for a job, attend an interview or receive an offer. Under UAE law, employers must not charge workers recruitment fees, and we will not knowingly publish a vacancy that asks candidates to pay.
Vacancies are added by our team or submitted by employers through verified employer accounts. Even so, always check an employer and offer yourself before sharing documents or making any decision. Our guide on how to verify a UAE job offer and employer explains how. If a listing looks suspicious, report it through our contact page.
Advertising and independence
JobVista UAE shows advertising to keep the site free for job seekers. Advertisers do not choose, review or approve our articles, and advertising does not affect what we write or recommend.
