Job Description
Operon Middle East Limited is looking for hardworking and reliable Cleaners to join its facilities management team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across assigned client facilities, ensuring that offices, common areas, washrooms, and other designated spaces remain neat, safe, and welcoming throughout each shift.
This is a hands-on housekeeping role suited to individuals who take pride in their work, follow procedures carefully, and enjoy contributing to a smooth-running facilities team. You will work closely with Cleaning Supervisors and other soft-services colleagues to deliver consistent service quality in line with company standards and client expectations.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and physically fit, with a positive attitude toward daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks. Prior experience as a Cleaner, Housekeeping Attendant, or in a similar role is preferred, along with a basic understanding of cleaning methods, hygiene practices, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Strong personal hygiene, good grooming, and a professional approach to client property are important, as is the ability to work well within a multicultural team. Candidates should be comfortable following schedules, checklists, and SOPs, and be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operations. Basic English communication skills are an advantage, and those currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately will be preferred.

Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties across assigned facilities and designated areas.
Clean offices, corridors, lobbies, staircases, washrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe, polish, and sanitize surfaces as required.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, fixtures, furniture, doors, glass, and other frequently used areas.
Maintain washrooms to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Replenish toiletries, tissue, soap, and other consumables as required.
Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
Carry out periodic deep-cleaning and specialized cleaning tasks when required.
Safely use cleaning chemicals, materials, tools, and equipment according to manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
Operate basic cleaning machinery and equipment safely following appropriate training.
Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure tools are returned, cleaned, and stored properly after use.
Report maintenance defects, damages, leaks, safety hazards, or other facility issues to the supervisor promptly.
Follow daily cleaning schedules, checklists, SOPs, and client-specific service requirements.
Maintain assigned areas in a neat, safe, and presentable condition throughout the working shift.
Follow all health, safety, hygiene, environmental, and chemical-handling procedures.
Wear the required uniform and PPE and maintain professional grooming and personal hygiene standards.
Respect client property and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Work closely with Cleaning Supervisors and other soft-services team members to achieve required service standards.
Perform additional cleaning and support duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Cleaner, Housekeeping Attendant, Office Cleaner, General Cleaner, or similar role is preferred.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in facilities management, commercial cleaning, hospitality, residential, healthcare, retail, or similar environments is an advantage.
Previous UAE cleaning or facilities management experience will be highly advantageous.
Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, hygiene practices, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing cleaning duties for extended periods.
Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Reliable, punctual, disciplined, and able to follow instructions and work schedules.
Basic English communication skills are preferred.
Ability to work effectively within a multicultural workforce.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime according to operational requirements.
