Job Description

Sara LLC is seeking a caring and dependable Health Care Assistant to support doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering quality, patient-focused care. This entry-level opportunity is well suited to individuals who are compassionate, reliable and committed to helping patients feel comfortable, safe and respected throughout their care journey.

In this role, you will work closely with the clinical team to support daily patient-care activities, including assistance with personal care, mobility, positioning and transfers. You will also help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic care environment, prepare basic medical and patient-care supplies, and ensure that infection-control and safety procedures are consistently followed.

Beyond hands-on support, you will play an important part in patient communication and wellbeing by observing and reporting any changes in a patient’s condition, offering emotional support, and assisting with meals and hydration when needed. Accurate record-keeping and maintaining patient confidentiality are essential aspects of this role, alongside consistently following the healthcare facility’s policies, procedures and professional standards.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is patient, empathetic and comfortable working as part of a healthcare team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good observation abilities, and a genuine commitment to patient dignity and hygiene are important for success in this role.

• Physically able to assist patients with mobility and daily activities
• Able to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
• Previous experience in a hospital, clinic or nursing home setting is an advantage, though not required
