Job Description
Masafi Water is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to support its sales and distribution operations across the UAE. Based out of Al Quoz, Dubai, this role is central to ensuring that Masafi products are consistently visible, well-stocked, and attractively presented across a range of retail outlets, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, and convenience stores.
The successful candidate will work closely with store staff, sales representatives, and supervisors to maintain high merchandising standards, monitor stock levels, and support promotional activities. This is a field-based role suited to someone who is comfortable working independently, following daily route plans, and building strong relationships with outlet personnel.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Merchandiser within FMCG, beverages, bottled water, or retail distribution, and is familiar with UAE retail environments and outlet operations. They understand core merchandising principles such as stock rotation, correct product placement, and promotional execution, and are confident applying FIFO/FEFO practices to monitor stock freshness and expiry.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with store managers, supervisors, and outlet staff. Candidates should also be physically fit and prepared for a role that involves standing, walking, and arranging products for extended periods, along with flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities
*Visit assigned supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, convenience stores, and other retail outlets according to the daily route plan.
*Ensure Masafi Water products are properly displayed, available, and positioned according to company merchandising standards.
*Maintain attractive and organized product displays, shelves, chillers, racks, and promotional areas.
*Monitor product availability and identify out-of-stock or low-stock situations and coordinate replenishment promptly.
*Implement approved promotions, point-of-sale materials, displays, and promotional campaigns at customer outlets.
*Ensure correct product pricing, shelf labels, promotional signage, and product positioning where applicable.
*Conduct regular stock checks and maintain appropriate stock levels at assigned outlets.
*Follow FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable and monitor product expiry dates and packaging condition.
*Identify damaged, expired, or slow-moving products and report them to the Sales Supervisor or relevant team.
*Ensure products are clean, properly arranged, and presented in accordance with company standards.
*Maintain strong working relationships with store managers, supervisors, buyers, and outlet staff.
*Coordinate with sales representatives, van salesmen, delivery drivers, warehouse teams, and supervisors to ensure product availability.
*Monitor competitor products, displays, pricing, promotions, and market activities and provide regular feedback.
*Take photographs or provide merchandising reports as required by management.
*Monitor shelf space and identify opportunities to improve product visibility and distribution.
*Support new product launches, promotional campaigns, sampling activities, and special retail activations when required.
*Ensure company promotional materials and merchandising equipment are properly installed, maintained, and utilized.
*Maintain accurate daily visit, stock, display, and activity reports.
*Follow company policies, health and safety requirements, customer guidelines, and outlet-specific procedures.
*Maintain professional grooming, punctuality, discipline, and a customer-focused attitude at all times.
*Perform other sales and merchandising duties assigned by management.
Requirements
*Previous experience as a Merchandiser, FMCG Merchandiser, Retail Merchandiser, Sales Merchandiser, or similar role is preferred.
*Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in FMCG, beverages, bottled water, food distribution, retail, or consumer products.
*Previous UAE merchandising or FMCG experience is highly preferred.
*Experience working with supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, convenience stores, cafeterias, restaurants, or similar outlets is an advantage.
*Good knowledge of retail merchandising principles, stock rotation, product placement, and promotional execution.
*Understanding of FIFO/FEFO, stock availability, expiry monitoring, and inventory control.
*Good knowledge of UAE retail markets and outlet operations.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with customers and outlet personnel.
*Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
*Ability to work independently, follow assigned routes, and complete multiple outlet visits each day.
*Physically fit and comfortable with standing, walking, lifting, and arranging products for extended periods.
*Basic English communication skills are required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages commonly spoken in the UAE is an advantage.
*Basic smartphone and reporting skills are preferred.
*A valid UAE driving license is an advantage, particularly for field-based merchandising roles.
*Willingness to work outdoors, weekends, public holidays, and extended hours according to operational requirements.
*Candidates currently in the UAE and available for immediate joining will be preferred.
