Job Description
Fortym Real Estate is looking for a Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of the office and the first point of contact for clients and visitors. This role plays an important part in creating a professional, organised and welcoming environment while supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative needs.
As Receptionist, you will greet clients and visitors with a positive and helpful attitude, guide them around the office, and announce their arrival to relevant staff. You will help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking and collecting visitor badges and maintaining visitor logs, while also managing incoming calls in a professional manner and directing them appropriately.
Beyond front-desk duties, you will support the office with a range of administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, note-taking, arranging travel plans, preparing meeting and training rooms, scheduling appointments, and sorting and distributing mail. You will also assist colleagues with various administrative needs and take on ad-hoc duties as required, including a role in hiring, managing and developing the junior administrative team.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is well presented, professional in manner, and confident in delivering excellent customer service to clients and visitors. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Prior experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role is preferred, along with a good understanding of administrative and clerical procedures. Strong time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing positively to shared tasks, are also important for success in this position.

Requirements
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good time management skills.
Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
