Job Description
Al Sahir General Contracting Establishment is seeking a capable MEP Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on-site in Abu Dhabi. This role suits someone comfortable coordinating with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to keep MEP installations on track, on spec, and running to schedule.
As MEP Site Supervisor, you will be the on-ground link between site teams and management, ensuring that daily work activities align with approved drawings and specifications while maintaining strong quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate
The right candidate is a hands-on supervisor who can read MEP drawings and shop drawings confidently, plan daily manpower and material needs, and troubleshoot common site issues without delay. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves regular coordination with engineers, consultants, clients, and workers on-site.
Familiarity with UAE MEP practices and site requirements is an advantage, as is holding a UAE Driving License. Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel, are expected, and knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. Above all, this role calls for someone organized, safety-conscious, and able to keep projects moving through practical, on-the-spot decision-making.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise and coordinate MEP works at site
• Monitor daily work activities and workforce
• Ensure work is completed according to drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and other site teams
• Ensure proper installation and maintenance of MEP systems
• Monitor work progress, quality, and safety requirements
• Prepare daily site reports and update management on progress
Requirements
Skills Required for an MEP Site Supervisor:
MEP Site Supervision – Ability to supervise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP works.
Technical Drawing Reading – Ability to read and understand MEP drawings, shop drawings, and layouts.
Site Coordination – Coordinate with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and other site teams.
Work Planning – Plan daily activities, manpower, materials, and work schedules.
Quality Control – Ensure installations are completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
Troubleshooting – Identify and resolve basic MEP technical and site issues.
Manpower Management – Effectively supervise technicians and workers.
Safety Awareness – Ensure workers follow site safety rules and procedures.
Progress Monitoring – Track daily work progress and prepare site reports.
Communication Skills – Good communication with engineers, clients, consultants, and workers.
Material Knowledge – Knowledge of common MEP materials, tools, and equipment.
Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to handle site problems and make practical decisions.
Computer Skills – Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, email, and preferably AutoCAD.
Time Management – Ability to complete work according to project schedules.
UAE Experience – Knowledge of UAE MEP practices and site requirements is an advantage.
Driving License – UAE Driving License is an advantage.
