Job Description
Bloom Facilities Management (BFM) is looking for a skilled AC Technician to join its technical services team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will handle the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of air-conditioning and HVAC systems across a portfolio of residential, commercial and facility management sites.
You will be an integral part of a technical team committed to delivering reliable, high-quality service to clients. Working closely with your supervisor, you will help ensure that maintenance schedules are met, equipment performs efficiently, and all work is completed safely and professionally, in line with contractual and compliance requirements.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate holds an ITI or Trade certificate in Air Conditioning and brings at least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in the UAE. You should be comfortable operating, maintaining and troubleshooting FCU, AHU, FAHU and VRF systems, as well as split units, window AC units and chilled water systems, including primary and secondary motors.
Practical experience with motor and compressor winding tests, bearing and shaft alignment, and the replacement of motors, compressors and blower units will be highly valued. Experience with chillers is a plus. You should also be able to read and write in English for documentation and reporting purposes, and have basic computer literacy to support day-to-day administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
*Complete Planned Preventive Maintenance in accordance with agreed schedule and achieve
completion rate as specified in the FM Service contract with the client.
*Works as part of a team that delivers ‘Memorable Service’ to our clients by positive & timely response to their inquiries.
*Takes responsibility for the tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in timely & professional manner.
*Build and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting the company culture & values.
*Collaborate with their immediate report, ensuring that costs & inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.
*Ensure adherence and legal compliance (health & safety), where due diligence requirements & best practice activities are planned, delivered & documented for necessary audits, performing follow-up as required.
Requirements
*Qualification: ITI / Trade certificate – Air Conditioning
*Experience: Minimum 3 Years relevant experience in UAE.
*Skills:-Operation, maintenance & trouble shooting of FCU, AHU, FAHU & VRF systems.
-Operation and maintenance of split units & window AC
-Operation & maintenance of chillers desirable.
-Operation, maintenance and trouble shooting of chilled water system (primary and secondary motors)
-Measuring and testing knowledge of motor winding test, compressor winding testing.
-Alignment of motor bearings and shaft alignments.
-Replacement of motors, compressors, blower units.
-Reading and writing skills - English language (for filling reports)
-Must have basic computer knowledge
