Job Description
ServeU Facilities Management is looking for a dependable Light Driver to join its operations team in Dubai. This role plays a key part in keeping daily activities running smoothly by ensuring staff, tools, documents, and materials reach their destinations safely and on time. The position suits someone who takes pride in safe driving, values punctuality, and understands the importance of maintaining a well-kept vehicle at all times.
As a Light Driver, you will be entrusted with transporting personnel and materials across various sites while adhering strictly to UAE traffic laws and internal safety procedures. Beyond driving, the role involves basic vehicle upkeep, accurate record-keeping, and close coordination with supervisors and facilities teams to support broader operational needs.
Ideal Candidate
The right candidate will hold a valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License and bring at least two years of relevant driving experience, ideally within facilities management, maintenance, construction, hospitality, or similar service-based environments. A strong grasp of Dubai and wider UAE roads, along with a clean driving history, is essential.
Beyond driving skills, we are looking for someone who is physically capable of assisting with loading and unloading, communicates clearly in English, and maintains a professional, courteous manner with colleagues and clients alike. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays when needed, is also important for this role.

Responsibilities
*Safely transport employees, supervisors, documents, equipment, tools, and materials as assigned.
*Drive company vehicles responsibly and ensure timely arrival at designated locations.
*Follow UAE road and traffic regulations, company driving policies, and site safety procedures.
*Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues, damage, or maintenance requirements.
*Keep the assigned vehicle clean, presentable, and in good operating condition.
*Maintain accurate vehicle records, including fuel usage, mileage, servicing, and inspection details.
*Assist with loading and unloading materials or equipment when required.
*Plan routes efficiently and use navigation systems to ensure timely transportation.
*Ensure all transported items are handled securely and delivered to the correct destination.
*Report accidents, traffic violations, vehicle breakdowns, or other incidents immediately to the supervisor.
*Support facilities management teams with transportation and other operational tasks as required.
*Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with clients, staff, visitors, and the public.
*Perform other driving and support duties assigned by management.
Requirements
*Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License is mandatory.
*Previous experience as a Light Driver, Company Driver, Delivery Driver, or similar role in the UAE is preferred.
*Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, traffic regulations, and major locations.
*Experience supporting facilities management, maintenance, construction, hospitality, or service operations is an advantage.
*Good driving record with a strong focus on safety.
*Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
*Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading when required.
*Reliable, punctual, responsible, and well-presented.
*Ability to work flexible hours, shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
*Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
