Job Description
Future Home Furniture is recruiting a Loading and Unloading team member to support the daily movement of stock into and out of its warehouse. The position suits an energetic, organised person who is comfortable with physical work and can follow instructions carefully. The listed salary range is AED 1800 – 2300.
Day to day, you will handle both incoming and outgoing deliveries. For outgoing orders, you will select products from the warehouse, load and secure goods on pallets, move them to the delivery area and load the merchandise onto vehicles. For incoming deliveries, you will unload stock, take it to its designated warehouse position and store it so it is easy to reach. Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe is part of the job at all times, in line with the relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Ideal Candidate
The employer is looking for someone who works in an orderly way and follows instructions well. Hard-working, focused applicants with strong problem-solving skills will be preferred. The role involves forklift and pallet equipment, so confidence in a practical warehouse setting is important. No minimum experience is stated, although general labour experience, preferably in a warehouse, is favoured.

Responsibilities
Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Accepting delivery of inventory.
Counting and confirming inventory.
Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
Communicating errors to relevant parties.
Marking and labeling stock.
Storing inventory in accessible manner.
Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.
Requirements
18 years of age or older.
Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse.
Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
Strong people skills.
Good moral character.
Physically strong, agile and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
Available to work extended hours.
