Job Description
Ninive Restaurant is looking for a Waiter to look after guests from the moment they are seated until their bill is settled. The role is the main link between the dining room and the kitchen. Accurate orders, attentive table service and a friendly manner all shape how guests remember their meal.
Day to day, the waiter welcomes customers, helps them choose from the menu and makes sure their food and drinks reach the table as intended. The waiter also checks that guests are satisfied and helps put things right if they are not. Handling the bill and payment correctly at the end of the meal is part of the same service.
The work is active and customer-facing. It suits someone who stays composed during busy periods, anticipates what guests need and keeps a courteous, professional approach throughout the shift.
Ideal Candidate
The right person enjoys working with the public and communicates clearly and politely. They have the stamina for long periods on their feet and can stay patient and professional when a guest is difficult to please. They are comfortable working flexible hours and carrying plates and trays with care and coordination.

Responsibilities
Greet customers and hand out menus.
Take meal and beverage orders from customers and place these orders in the kitchen.
Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials.
Deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared.
Check that customers are satisfied with their meal.
Prepare the bill for tables when requested.
Cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid.
Administer change to tables if needed.
Requirements
Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
Flexible work hours.
Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Coordination to carry plates or trays without dropping anything.
