Job Description

Almasarat Shipping l.l.C. is looking for a Forklift Operator to support its warehouse and storage operations. The role centres on moving goods and materials safely and efficiently through warehouses, storage areas and loading bays.

Day to day, the operator uses a forklift to load and unload trucks and containers, transport materials within the site, and stack products in their designated areas. The position also supports the wider goods flow, including receiving, storing and dispatching. Operators check goods for damage as they handle them and report any discrepancies. Before each shift, they inspect the forklift and flag any maintenance issues so the equipment stays safe to use.

Safety and organisation are central to the role. The operator follows workplace safety procedures and warehouse regulations, keeps the work area clean and orderly, and works closely with warehouse staff and supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.

The advertised salary is AED 3,500 to 4,000. Previous forklift experience is preferred but not essential.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has a valid forklift operator licence or certification, where required, and a working knowledge of warehouse safety procedures. Prior experience as a forklift operator is an advantage. Candidates should be physically fit, able to lift and move materials when necessary, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Good communication and a cooperative approach to teamwork will help them work well alongside colleagues and supervisors.
