Job Description

iMile Delivery is recruiting a Driver to take charge of customer deliveries from start to finish. The role centres on getting goods and packages to the right people safely, accurately and on schedule, while presenting a professional image of the company at every stop.

Day to day, you will follow assigned routes and delivery schedules, check order and customer details before handing over items, and make sure everything arrives in good condition. Where required, you will also collect payments, obtain proof of delivery and keep clear daily delivery records. Close coordination with the dispatch team and management is part of the job, particularly when a delay, vehicle issue or delivery discrepancy needs to be reported.

The position suits someone who is dependable and punctual, takes road safety seriously, and is comfortable dealing with customers directly. The advertised salary range is AED 2000 – 4000, and the role is open to candidates with no prior experience, although previous delivery driving experience is considered an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate holds a valid driving license for the relevant vehicle category and has a good knowledge of local roads and delivery routes. A safe driving record, responsible behaviour on the road and the ability to manage time under delivery schedules are essential. Good communication and customer service skills, along with basic English, will help you work smoothly with both customers and the dispatch team, and additional languages are a useful advantage. You should also be physically able to load and unload goods when needed.
