Job Description
Razanco Building Contracting is looking for a Civil Engineer to support the planning, design and supervision of construction projects. The role covers work on buildings, roads, bridges and other infrastructure, with a focus on delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget and in line with approved engineering drawings and quality standards.
The Civil Engineer will be involved from the technical planning stage through to site execution. Day-to-day work includes preparing and reviewing drawings and specifications, monitoring construction activity, and checking that work on site matches approved designs and local regulations. The engineer will also work closely with architects, contractors, consultants and site supervisors to keep each project coordinated and moving forward.
Quality, safety and progress control are central to the position. The successful candidate will inspect materials and workmanship, follow health, safety and environmental requirements, and track project progress, costs and deadlines. When technical issues arise, the engineer will be expected to identify the problem and recommend practical solutions, while keeping progress reports and project documentation accurate and up to date.
The advertised salary for this position is AED 4,500 – 6,000.

This role suits a civil engineering professional who is comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings, understands construction methods, materials and engineering standards, and can use AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software. Clear communication, organised working habits and a methodical approach to solving technical problems are important for coordinating with different project teams. Familiarity with UAE construction regulations is an advantage.
