Job Description
Five Thirty Facility Management is looking for a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Female Cashier / Order Taker to join the front-of-house team in Dubai, UAE. This role is central to the daily customer experience, combining accurate order-taking and payment processing with warm, attentive service at the cashier counter.
The successful candidate will manage customer interactions from greeting through to order completion, ensuring transactions are processed correctly, the front-of-house area remains clean and well-organized, and every customer leaves with a positive impression of the service provided.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate brings at least one year of relevant experience in a restaurant, cafeteria, catering, hotel, food court, or similar food-service environment, along with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service. She should be comfortable working with POS systems, handling cash and card payments, and reconciling transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to stay calm and efficient during busy periods are essential. Candidates who are reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable to rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays will thrive in this fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities
*Welcome customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
*Take accurate food and beverage orders through the POS system or approved ordering procedures.
*Clearly communicate customer orders and special requests to the kitchen and service teams.
*Process cash, card, and other approved payment transactions accurately.
*Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
*Handle cash responsibly and ensure the cashier drawer is properly maintained.
*Reconcile cash and transaction records at the end of each shift and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
*Assist customers with menu enquiries, product information, prices, promotions, and available options.
*Ensure orders are prepared and handed over to customers accurately and promptly.
*Coordinate with kitchen staff to monitor order status and minimize customer waiting time.
*Handle customer questions, feedback, and complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
*Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the cashier counter and front-of-house area.
*Ensure menus, displays, promotional materials, cutlery, napkins, and other FOH supplies are adequately stocked.
*Support dining-area service, table clearing, packing, and other front-of-house duties when required.
*Follow food safety, hygiene, cash-handling, security, and company procedures at all times.
*Maintain professional grooming, personal hygiene, uniform standards, and a positive service attitude.
*Protect company cash, equipment, customer information, and other business assets.
*Complete shift handovers and communicate pending orders, customer concerns, or operational issues to the incoming team.
*Work closely with supervisors, kitchen staff, delivery teams, and other FOH employees to ensure smooth operations.
*Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
*Previous experience as a Cashier, Order Taker, FOH Associate, Restaurant Cashier, Counter Staff, or similar role is preferred.
*Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in restaurants, cafeterias, catering, hotels, food courts, QSRs, or food-service operations is an advantage.
*UAE experience in hospitality, catering, food & beverage, or facilities management will be highly advantageous.
*Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, card payments, and basic transaction reconciliation.
*Good knowledge of customer service and front-of-house procedures.
*Strong numerical and basic calculation skills with excellent attention to detail.
*Good verbal communication skills in English; Arabic or other languages commonly used in the UAE will be an advantage.
*Professional appearance, good personal hygiene, and a customer-friendly personality.
*Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods and handle multiple orders efficiently.
*Strong teamwork, punctuality, reliability, and willingness to learn.
*Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
*Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime according to operational requirements.
*Candidates currently in the UAE and available for immediate joining will be preferred.
