Job Description
Good Care Medical Center in Sonapur, Dubai, is looking for a qualified and patient-focused General Physician (GP) to join its medical team. The physician will provide high-quality primary care, diagnose and treat a wide range of common acute and chronic conditions, and promote preventive healthcare.
Day to day, the role centers on patient consultations, clinical assessment, treatment planning and follow-up care. The GP will also give practical health education and lifestyle advice, keep accurate and confidential records, and refer patients to specialists or hospitals when more advanced investigation or treatment is needed. Working closely with nurses, specialists and other healthcare professionals is an important part of delivering well-coordinated care.
The center places strong emphasis on patient safety, professional ethics and compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, clinical guidelines and infection control standards. The position suits a physician who combines sound clinical judgment with a respectful, compassionate approach to patients and their families.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a licensed or licence-eligible physician with outpatient or clinic-based experience, strong communication skills and confidence in working within a multidisciplinary team. They should be comfortable using electronic medical records and able to build trust with patients from diverse, multicultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities
*Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and medical assessments to diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses.
*Prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and follow-up care based on clinical findings.
*Provide preventive healthcare advice, health education, and lifestyle recommendations to patients.
*Monitor patients’ progress and maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
*Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when advanced investigations or treatment are required.
*Order and interpret relevant laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations within the scope of practice.
*Identify medical emergencies and provide initial stabilization and appropriate referral when necessary.
*Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, clinical guidelines, infection control protocols, and patient confidentiality requirements.
*Coordinate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
*Maintain professional communication with patients and their families, ensuring a respectful and compassionate healthcare experience.
Requirements
*MBBS or an equivalent recognized medical degree.
*Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP professional license, as applicable to the emirate of employment, or eligibility for licensing in accordance with UAE healthcare requirements.
*Relevant clinical experience as a General Physician, preferably in a medical center, clinic, or outpatient healthcare setting.
*Strong knowledge of general medicine, patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment protocols.
*Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
*Proficiency in maintaining electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
*Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
*Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is highly preferred.
*Preferably a Male Pakistani General Physician (GP) with Arabic language proficiency.
*Immediate availability or a short joining period will be an advantage.
