Job Description

Alameera Foodstuff is looking for a dependable and physically capable Helper to support daily warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in keeping incoming and outgoing merchandise organized, accurately recorded, and handled safely from receipt through to dispatch. The successful candidate will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain smooth stock movement and a clean, well-organized storage environment.

The position involves receiving deliveries, checking merchandise for damage or quality issues, and accurately weighing and counting items before they are stored or shipped. You will assist with retrieving stock as per delivery or shipping orders, preparing goods for dispatch through proper packaging and labeling, and ensuring all outgoing items are securely loaded to prevent damage in transit.

Warehouse organization is a core part of the role, including stacking merchandise correctly on shelves and racks, operating lift equipment to move or stack goods, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility through regular sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Keeping accurate records of stock movement and reporting any damaged goods or equipment promptly to management is also expected.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking someone who is physically fit, safety-conscious, and comfortable working as part of a coordinated team. The ideal candidate has hands-on warehouse experience, understands standard warehouse practices, and can operate lift equipment confidently and safely. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, will help ensure accurate handling and reporting of merchandise across shifts.
