Job Description
Hemera Restaurant is looking for a Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests. The role sets the tone for the whole dining experience, from the greeting at the entrance to being shown to a table.
The Hostess manages the flow at the front of the restaurant. This includes handling reservations and waiting lists, assigning tables, and answering guest calls and inquiries. The role works closely with waiters, captains and restaurant management so that seating runs smoothly and guests are kept informed about waiting times and availability.
The Hostess also looks after the reception area, supports guests with special requests and seating arrangements, and handles concerns politely and professionally. The role follows company policies, hygiene standards and grooming requirements.

This position suits someone with strong communication and customer service skills and a well-organized approach to work. The ideal candidate is welcoming, composed when dealing with guests, and able to coordinate with colleagues in a busy restaurant.
