Job Description
Transguard Group is looking for dependable and service-focused Housekeepers to join its facilities team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation across a range of assigned areas, ensuring that all work is carried out in line with company procedures, client expectations, and UAE health and safety standards.
This position is well suited to individuals who take pride in their work, follow structured cleaning routines, and enjoy contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and colleagues.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has prior experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities support role and is comfortable working within established schedules and hygiene procedures. You should be physically fit, attentive to detail, and confident using standard cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-groomed, with a professional approach to daily duties
- Able to work efficiently across offices, common areas, washrooms, and other designated spaces
- Comfortable following checklists, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Able to work effectively within a multicultural team and interact courteously with clients and occupants
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately is preferred

Responsibilities
*Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, corridors, lobbies, washrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.
*Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, sanitising, and general cleaning duties.
*Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and frequently used areas according to established hygiene procedures.
*Ensure washrooms are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised, and adequately stocked with required consumables.
*Replenish toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other consumables as required.
*Use cleaning chemicals, machinery, tools, and equipment safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
*Follow daily cleaning schedules, checklists, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
*Carry out deep cleaning and periodic cleaning tasks as assigned.
*Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste in accordance with site and environmental procedures.
*Report maintenance defects, damaged fixtures, leaks, safety hazards, or other issues promptly to the supervisor.
*Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and ensure proper storage after use.
*Respect client property, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professional conduct at all times.
*Respond courteously to client, visitor, and occupant requests within the scope of the role.
*Follow all company HSE, hygiene, security, and site-specific safety procedures.
*Maintain professional grooming, personal hygiene, punctuality, and attendance standards.
*Work effectively with supervisors and multicultural housekeeping and facilities teams.
Requirements
*Previous experience as a Housekeeping Attendant, Cleaner, Housekeeping Assistant, or similar position is preferred.
*Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE within facilities management, hospitality, commercial, residential, healthcare, or similar environments.
*Basic knowledge of professional cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment, and hygiene standards.
*Ability to follow cleaning schedules, instructions, and established procedures.
*Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties for extended periods.
*Good personal hygiene, grooming, reliability, and professional attitude.
*Basic English communication skills are preferred.
*Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime as required.
*Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
*Previous UAE facilities management experience is an advantage.
*Candidates currently in the UAE and available for immediate joining will be preferred.
