Job Description
ServeU Facilities Management is recruiting a Multi-Technician (MEP) in Dubai, UAE, to help keep building services running safely and efficiently across its assigned facilities. The role suits a hands-on technician who can work across more than one trade and is comfortable moving between electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical tasks.
Day to day, you will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, spot technical faults early, and respond to breakdowns and emergency calls. The work combines planned maintenance schedules with unplanned repairs, so you will need to prioritise well and keep clear records of what has been done. You will report to a supervisor and work alongside MEP specialists, contractors and other facility teams, always following company HSE policies, client requirements and UAE safety standards.
Ideal Candidate
The best fit is a practical, reliable technician with about 3 years of relevant experience. You should be able to diagnose faults across different building systems and communicate clearly with colleagues and building users. Because the role involves shifts, weekends, public holidays and occasional emergency response, flexibility and a dependable attitude are important. Candidates currently living in the UAE are preferred.

Responsibilities
*Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of MEP systems, equipment, and building services.
*Carry out routine inspections and identify electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and other technical faults.
*Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical systems, lighting, switches, sockets, distribution boards, and related components.
*Perform plumbing maintenance, including repairs to water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, valves, and fittings.
*Carry out basic HVAC maintenance, including cleaning filters, checking FCUs/AHUs, thermostats, motors, fans, and related components.
*Attend to maintenance requests, breakdowns, and emergency calls promptly and professionally.
*Replace faulty components and carry out minor repairs in accordance with approved procedures.
*Conduct regular equipment and facility inspections and report defects or potential issues to the supervisor.
*Follow planned preventive maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders within the required timeframe.
*Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance activities, spare parts, and materials used.
*Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and maintenance equipment safely and correctly.
*Coordinate with supervisors, MEP specialists, contractors, and other facility teams when required.
*Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas after completing maintenance activities.
*Follow company HSE policies, client requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and applicable UAE safety standards.
*Provide professional and courteous support to clients, occupants, and facility users.
*Perform other MEP and general maintenance duties assigned by management.
Requirements
*Proven experience as a Multi-Technician, MEP Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
*Relevant experience in UAE facilities management, building maintenance, commercial properties, residential buildings, hospitality, or mixed-use facilities is preferred.
*Practical knowledge of at least two or more MEP disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical maintenance.
*Ability to diagnose faults and carry out basic repairs across different building systems.
*Relevant technical/vocational qualification or certification in MEP, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or a related trade is preferred.
*Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
*Ability to read basic technical drawings, manuals, and equipment instructions.
*Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices and safe use of tools and equipment.
*Physically fit and comfortable working in different site conditions.
*Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
*Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and customer-focused.
*Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and respond to emergency maintenance requirements when necessary.
*Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
