Job Description
Gulf Precast Concrete Company LLC-S.P.C is hiring an experienced Project Engineer to support precast concrete and civil construction projects across the UAE. The role covers project execution from planning through to completion, with a focus on safe delivery, adherence to schedule and budget, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and UAE construction requirements.
Based at project sites, the Project Engineer acts as a key technical and coordination link between site teams, precast production and logistics, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers. Day-to-day work includes overseeing the installation of precast elements such as panels, beams, columns, slabs and stairs, monitoring civil works against approved programmes, and keeping documentation, inspections and progress records accurate and up to date.
The position suits an engineer who is comfortable balancing technical review with hands-on site supervision. It involves identifying drawing discrepancies and constructability issues early, tracking quantities, productivity and costs, and recommending practical solutions when risks or delays arise. The role also includes supporting the project through to handover, covering snagging, rectification, testing and final completion documentation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a civil engineering graduate, or a graduate in a related engineering discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in precast concrete and civil construction. Strong site experience in precast erection and structural works is important, along with the ability to interpret structural, architectural and civil drawings and a sound working knowledge of UAE construction standards, health and safety requirements and quality control procedures.
Clear communication, problem-solving and leadership skills are essential for managing several site activities at once and meeting demanding deadlines. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and project scheduling or planning tools is preferred, as is availability to work at project sites across the UAE. Previous experience on construction projects in the UAE is also highly regarded.
The advertised salary range is AED 5,000 to 12,000, and the package includes a visa, medical cover, annual leave and an air ticket, along with other benefits.

Responsibilities
*Plan, coordinate, and supervise precast and civil construction activities at project sites.
*Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements to ensure proper execution of works.
*Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, production teams, and site personnel to ensure smooth project delivery.
*Supervise the installation and erection of precast concrete elements, including panels, beams, columns, slabs, stairs, and other structural components.
*Monitor civil construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
*Coordinate with the precast production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of precast elements.
*Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower requirements, material requirements, and equipment allocation.
*Ensure construction activities comply with approved quality standards, project specifications, and applicable UAE regulations.
*Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress against project milestones and approved programmes.
*Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP, and other project disciplines to resolve site-related technical and coordination issues.
*Review technical drawings and identify discrepancies, clashes, or constructability issues before and during execution.
*Assist in preparing method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), material submittals, technical reports, and other project documentation.
*Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients and ensure timely closure of inspection comments and non-conformities.
*Monitor quantities, material usage, productivity, and project costs while supporting effective cost control.
*Identify construction risks, delays, and technical issues and recommend practical corrective measures.
*Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental requirements at the project site.
*Maintain accurate records of daily progress, site activities, manpower, materials, inspections, and project correspondence.
*Support project handover activities, including snagging, rectification, testing, documentation, and final completion.
Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
*Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in precast concrete and civil construction works.
*Strong hands-on experience in precast erection, structural works, and site construction activities.
*An Arabic nationality with proven experience working on construction projects in the UAE is highly preferred.
*Strong understanding of construction methods, structural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
*Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
*Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil engineering drawings.
*Knowledge of UAE construction standards, health and safety requirements, and quality control procedures.
*Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling/planning tools is preferred.
*Strong project coordination, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
*Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet demanding project deadlines.
*Candidates available to work across UAE project sites will be preferred.
