Job Description
Mayfair group of companies is looking for a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects and lead the on-site construction team. The role combines day-to-day supervision with a strong focus on safety, quality and efficient site operations.
The Site Supervisor is the main point of coordination on site. You will guide the construction team and subcontractors, and keep work aligned with project plans, safety standards and budget expectations. Practical tasks such as ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance when needed and training new construction employees are part of the role. You will also be expected to give first aid in an emergency.
Safety sits at the centre of this position. The Site Supervisor helps keep the site compliant with building codes and construction safety regulations, and takes an active part in reducing risks for everyone working there.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and confident in reading building plans. They understand building codes and safety regulations, and can lead a team with clear communication and sound problem-solving. They should be organised, hands-on and comfortable taking responsibility for both people and project outcomes on a busy construction site.

Responsibilities
Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
Requirements
Completion of a post-secondary education construction training program.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or related field is preferred.
Proven experience working as a site supervisor.
CPR and first aid certifications.
Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
The ability to interpret blueprints.
Outstanding leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
